The idea

Why Tabalyst Online

Today, using Tabalyst means installing Python and a package. For someone who only wants to look at one file, that is setup before the first result. Tabalyst Online is meant to remove that step: you open a page in your browser instead of preparing an environment.

Two ways to use Tabalyst

  • AVAILABLE TODAY / LOCAL

    Your machine, your control

    Tabalyst runs where your files are. No upload is needed, and the analysis adds no telemetry or remote processing.

  • PLANNED / ONLINE

    A service, for convenience

    Nothing to install. The files you use are handled by a hosted service, which is a different arrangement from local use.

The promise of local use does not extend to Tabalyst Online. What a hosted service does with your files will be described when it exists.

What it is meant to offer

Tabalyst Report and Tabalyst Explore are the capabilities the hosted mode is meant to offer. A free offer is the intention. Limits, conditions, a date or a price are not decided, and none is announced here.

What will be said when it opens

Before Tabalyst Online opens, its terms, the handling of files, the limits and the way to use it will be published. Until then there is nothing to sign up for on this site: no form, no account, no waiting list.
